I don't know many folks who ride bikes other than my son and his 8year old mates, but if I were to start, it would be this bike and helmet combo from CycleChic!
Almost thigh high...
In this month's VOGUE, I was confused as to why PRADA ever thought that these were a good idea...
This look is most definitely not for me...however, inspired by QM's post about her new Topshop thigh high boots, I dug out a pair of over the knee boots I have had for ages, but never worn.
Even though QM made them look positively demure in the below image, I had always steered clear of them through fear of looking 'slutty'. I think I would definitely need to wear them with leggings and a pretty dress a la QM, rather than with bare legs.
Unlike QM's boots, mine come just up over the knee and are flat, as opposed to manically high wedged platform numbers! I bought mine in Next of all places. I wore my Topshop suede ones far more often, back in the day, over my jeans, and folded down to resemble something out of Pirates of the Caribbean. It was a good look at the time, honest!
Pretty Raccoons in Glasgow
While adding all the Glasgow Craft Mafia members' blog links to my blog roll, I was delighted to be reminded of one of my favourite tops. Emma at Show Pony can be seen modeling some Pretty Raccoon tops and dresses for the new online (Glasgow based) store, Hannah Zakari. I bought my red antler sweater from Pretty Raccoon's etsy store a year or so ago, and wore it for about 7 days straight. Needless to say, after these photos were taken in The Buff Club on a bit of boozy night out, it had to be washed and rested for a while.
(Cheesy grin alert!)
I totally remember shouting at my mate, 'quick, take a picture of my top!' lol.
I hope that Hannah Zakari stocks the fab super-low-v-neck Bow Tops soon as I am too tight these days to pay for the super-high-delivery from America!
J'adore Fifi Lapin
I haven't been on the Fifi Lapin blog in aaggggesss, so thought it was high time, I checked out what the world's most fashionable rabbit has been wearing recently. As usual, the posts and images made me smile, and coo and ahhh over all the lovely outfits and that bunny's cute wee face. If you are unaware of who, or what Fifi Lapin is, then check out the blog now! It is basically the daily wear blog of a painted rabbit.
This is not just any painted rabbit, but a painted rabbit who has graced the pages of Elle and Vogue and whose stuffed counterpart is sent clothing from Matthew Williamson and Marc Jacobs!
